Louisa Baker

As part of her role, she delivers the quality assurance of TIAH's online service by ensuring feedback from farmers and growers is delivered to the wider team.

In her early career, Lou spent five years working and living on a mixed farm in Derbyshire whilst studying for a BA Honours Degree in Graphic Design. 

She then spent 17 years working withing the creative and digital industries as Project Manager and the Account Director delivering marketing solutions to clients including Bupa, Trasport for London, Novartis and Eurostar before founding a recruitment business for the same industry, which she ran for five years.

Her interest in agriculture and horticulture eventually drew her back to study at Nottingham Trent University where she took on several work placements in the lamb and dairy sector before securing a contract position as Project Manger with AHDB supporting TIAH's early development. This led to her becoming a permanent member of the TIAH team.

In her spare time, Lou loves keeping fits by going on long hikes, spending time on the golf course or relaxing with yoga. She also enjoys travel, cooking and baking (and eating) the odd cake or two.
