As TIAH’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Manager, Sarah's responsible for promoting opportunities around lifelong learning to TIAH members, supporting and helping them identify development opportunities.
Sarah brings valuable expertise to TIAH, having spent nearly 20 years in various roles with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). The Institute has a membership base of over 250,000 across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, and two international offices.
All of Sarah’s CIPD roles were focused on supporting members, external customers and the internal workforce.
Her most recent position, prior to joining TIAH, was as CIPD’s CPD and Careers Lead. This included leading on the strategic development and delivery of Continuing Professional Development and careers services to members.
Sarah also worked with a variety of stakeholders to create a new CPD approach to support CIPD’s learning strategy, and played an instrumental role in the continued development of CIPD’s Professional Standards.
Sarah says “Being a mum to two girls, there’s nothing I enjoy more than getting to the park or weekends away to explore with them. I love to go out for meals, reading of an evening, and I have a guilty pleasure for reality shows!”
